Pride Month Hike with VLT

June 12, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Ventura Land Trust and Diversity Collective for a 2- to 3-mile moderate hike through Harmon Canyon Preserve, Ventura’s largest nature preserve, as we celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month.
VLT hike leaders will stop along the way to share the natural and cultural elements of the preserve. As June 12th is the 9th anniversary of the tragic Pulse Nightclub Shooting, Diversity Collective will hold a moment of remembrance to honor the victims and reflect on its impact on LGBTQ+ culture. Finally, we’ll enjoy the preserve as the sun sets behind the hills.

Thursday, June 12 · 6 – 7:30pm PDT. Doors open at 5:45pm
Harmon Canyon Preserve
7511 Foothill Road Ventura, CA 93003
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and sun protection (hats and/or sunglasses). Bring water to drink. Wear your pride fits. All attendees can enter our opportunity drawing to win VLT and Diversity Collective items!
Before the hike, stop by the Diversity Collective and Ventura Land Trust welcome tables at the Harmon Canyon Preserve trailhead.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HARMON CANYON PRESERVE PARKING AREA CAN BE FULL. Leave extra time to find a spot. A parking volunteer will be stationed to direct preserve visitors. Overflow parking is available on Kimball Road.
