Ventura County Pride
Stand Out Stand Proud
Ventura County Pride Festival is a weekend-long event in August with over 5,000 attendees that celebrate the LGBTQ community, supporters, and allies in Ventura County. All proceeds raised go to sustain the Community Resource Center and Diversity Collective programs and services. These services include free anonymous HIV & AIDS testing, peer-support groups, cultural competency training, and Rainbow Umbrella Youth Group, a safe space for LGBTQ youth and their allies. The work of Diversity Collective is essential 365 days a year, as we offer support and resources for a marginalized community. Pride Weekend is a time for Ventura County’s LGBTQ+ Community to celebrate, stand out and stand proud.
Our mission for Pride weekend is to educate, advocate, and celebrate the LGBTQ community while providing a platform for those most marginalized in our own community. We promote diversity, education, mental and physical health to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and Latinx population as well as the general public.
The 2021 Ventura County Pride event will be an exciting, virtual, and in-person interactive event!

AIDS Walk Ventura
The goal of AIDS Walk Ventura is to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS and to fund Diversity Collective's HIV-AIDS Education and Prevention Program. We work closely with the County of Ventura to ensure we fill in the gaps of service here in the county and make a positive impact on how HIV-AIDS affects us locally.

AIDS Walk Ventura County is a fun, healthy way for friends, families, and teams of co-workers to raise awareness and help do their part in the fight against HIV & AIDS in Ventura County. The event has a long history in the county. We do this work in partnership with Ventura County Public Health and with the help of numerous volunteers and sponsor organizations. Together we can reduce and eventually stop the spread of HIV & AIDS in Ventura County.
This year's AIDS walk will be in-person at Plaza Park in Ventura. Join us at 9AM on May 14, 2022!
