Join us for our LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency Training for Parents and Family on Saturday, March 2nd from 10:30AM-2:30PM at our Community Resource Center.
Our PRIDE training (Parents and Professionals’ Responsibility for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity) was created to educate families with LGBTQ+ youth using evidence based on the R.I.S.E. Model of the LA LGBT Center. This training aims to decrease the high incidence of trauma and suicide in the LGBTQ+ community, with an emphasis on “permanency” in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.
