WAS SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2017
Diversity Gala 2017 was honored to be hosted once again at the lovely Heritage Square in the city of Oxnard.
We had tables set up in the square for our 165 guests where we enjoyed the most awesome weather as we celebrated outstanding community members and raised funds for our new community resource center.
Our second annual Taste the Ventura County Rainbow theme featured donated food and beverages from local LGBTQ or ally businesses. Entertainment was provided by Kaiden Wilde who amazed us with his personal style of poetry and Melody Bird who dazzled us with her guitar. We would like to thank all the local community and businesses that donated hundreds of items to the silent and live auction. We raised over $10,000.00 Dollars for the community resource center. We look forward to seeing you at the Diversity Gala 2018 and for more details, the full list of participants, and award winners is below.
